3-year-old boy killed in parking lot accident in Davenport

When children are playing, it's important that drivers are more aware and patient near roads. Parking lots can be particularly dangerous, since children may be entering or exiting vehicles. When drivers are entering or leaving school lots, it's incredibly important for them to be aware of the children around them. Children may be playing or interacting around vehicles without realizing the danger that could pose. It's possible that you could file a claim if your child is struck in a school zone or on a school's premises, since drivers should be wary in these areas.

A driver striking a child in a parking lot is a tragedy for everyone involved. A family in Davenport lost their son, according to a March 2 report, and the community has provided its support. The news reports that the child, a 3-year-old boy, had been in a parking lot at the All Saints Catholic School on North Marquette Street when he was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado at around 3:10 p.m. The collision was severe and resulted in the child's death; he was pronounced dead when he arrived at the Genesis Medical Center in Davenport.

According to the story, the child had been playing in the parking lot with other students from the school at the time when he was hit. The family has been supported by the local community, particularly due to the fact that both the child's parents work in the school system.

The little boy was the youngest of four brothers and was described as happy and energetic. According to the news, the family is also familiar with the family of the person who was driving the vehicle and has asked for prayers regarding that family's pain as well.
